Full Moon Floating
Sound Bath
Float. Listen. Release.
An immersive sound journey on floating beds beneath the Hong Kong night sky.
THE EXPERIENCE
Float on water. Journey through sound.
As city lights shimmer across the pool, you settle onto a floating bed while sound begins to move gently through the water.
Crystal bowls, gongs, and subtle textures resonate across the surface of the pool. Sound travels differently here. Softer, slower, more immersive.
This is where IKIGAI meets the Four Seasons. Presence meets precision. A quiet kind of luxury designed to feel rare without feeling intimidating.
Signature features
Why this experience feels different
More than a sound bath, this is a carefully composed evening where water, sound, and setting come together to create something slower, rarer, and more immersive.
Floating immersion
Rest on a floating bed while sound moves across the surface of the water, creating a softer and more enveloping experience.
Live sound journey
Crystal bowls, gongs, and layered textures are performed live, allowing each session to feel organic, present, and deeply felt.
Four Seasons setting
Held by the pool at Four Seasons Hong Kong, the experience is shaped by water, architecture, and the glow of the city at night.
Nervous system reset
The pace is unhurried and low stimulation, designed to help the body soften, the breath settle, and the mind become quieter.
Intimate by design
With limited capacity, the atmosphere remains spacious, calm, and personal, so each guest can fully relax into the moment.
Rare atmosphere
Not quite a class and not quite a performance, it is a shared experience suspended between wellness, ritual, and quiet luxury.
The evening unfolds
Your journey through the evening. A gradual descent into stillness.
From spa warmth to floating sound, the experience is designed as a smooth transition out of the city’s pace and into a more spacious state. Each part of the evening prepares you for the next.
How the evening flows
The exact timing may vary slightly from one edition to another, but the rhythm remains the same: arrive, soften, float, and return gently.
Arrival and spa access
Enter the Four Seasons spa and begin to slow down through warmth, water, and quiet spaces designed for decompression.
Poolside gathering
A calm welcome by the water as the city lights begin to reflect across the pool and the atmosphere becomes more intimate.
Settle onto your floating bed
You lie back, adjust into stillness, and allow the water beneath you to support the transition inward.
Floating sound immersion
Live crystal bowls, gongs, and layered textures move through the space, creating a sound experience that feels expansive yet deeply personal.
Return gently
The session closes softly. There is no rush, only a gradual re-entry with more spaciousness, clarity, and calm.
A note from the curator
Sound is not decoration. It shapes the entire experience.
I have always been fascinated by the way sound changes when it meets a different environment. In a studio, it surrounds you. On water, it carries you.
The Floating Sound Bath was born from that curiosity, and from a desire to create something that feels suspended from the usual rhythm of Hong Kong.
Together with the Four Seasons team, we shape each edition with care. The setting, the pacing of the evening, the density of the sound, and the silence between instruments all matter.
Nothing is accidental. The intention is simple. To create a moment where the body can soften, the mind can widen, and the city begins to feel a little further away.
Past moments
See how it feels
A selection of glimpses from previous Floating Sound Bath editions. More than documentation, these moments offer a sense of the atmosphere, the light, and the stillness that define the experience.
Why this evening exists
More than relaxation. A curated experience.
This is an opportunity to experience IKIGAI’s creative wellness approach in one of the most distinctive settings in Hong Kong, suspended between water, light, and skyline.
The Full Moon Floating Sound Bath is not designed as a typical wellness session. It is a carefully composed meeting point between atmosphere, architecture, and vibration, where IKIGAI’s immersive sound practice meets the precision and quiet luxury of Four Seasons.
The intention is simple. To create a form of restoration that feels sensory, memorable, and lasting. Not indulgence for its own sake, but an experience that continues to resonate long after the evening ends.
An experience designed to stay with you.

Where are tickets released?
Tickets are released through the Four Seasons Hong Kong e-shop. Those on the mailing list receive the release information and direct booking link first.

No prior experience with meditation or sound baths is required. The experience is designed to be accessible, with clear guidance throughout.
What should I bring?
Please bring swimwear for the floating experience. Towels and basic amenities are provided. We also recommend arriving early if you would like to enjoy the spa beforehand.
Is it indoors or outdoors?
The floating session takes place at the Four Seasons pool area. If weather conditions require any adjustment, guidance will be shared with guests in advance.
What makes this different from a regular sound bath?
The setting changes everything. Sound behaves differently on water, the body feels lighter, and the skyline becomes part of the atmosphere. This is not a studio class. It is a carefully curated collaboration between IKIGAI and Four Seasons.
