What to Expect

This special evening blends the discipline of HOT26 yoga with the calming, restorative qualities of sound.

You will move through a structured sequence of 26 postures in a heated room set at around 30°C using infrared heat. The warmth supports flexibility, circulation, and mental focus while encouraging you to stay present throughout the practice.

As the class comes to a close, the intensity softens. You will be guided into stillness while immersed in the resonant sounds of singing bowls, allowing the nervous system to settle and the body to fully absorb the benefits of the practice.

Why Candlelight & Sound

Practising in a candle-lit environment helps reduce external stimulation and encourages inward focus. The addition of singing bowls at the end of the class supports relaxation, emotional release, and integration, creating a balanced experience that works both the body and the nervous system.

This class is ideal if you are looking to:

  • Challenge yourself physically

  • Improve stamina and focus

  • Release accumulated stress

  • Experience a deeper sense of calm after movement

💌 Message from Stella

“HOT26 is a powerful way to build strength and discipline, but it can also be grounding and meditative when approached with awareness. This candlelit session is an invitation to explore both sides of the practice, effort and release, intensity and softness. Ending with sound allows the body to let go and truly settle.”

Teacher: Stella Mak

  • Stella began practicing yoga in 2015 while searching for a deeper meaning and purpose to life. Feeling under pressure at work, yoga helped her find away to relieve this pressure. Inspired by her new found purpose, she enrolled in a 200hr teacher training.

2023 was a difficult year. In March, Stella was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer and had a close call with death. She underwent surgery, six rounds of chemotherapy, and electrotherapy. Through her yoga practice & daily meditation, she reconciled with her body. Years and years of yoga asana enabled her to recover her strength after each treatment.

After experiencing breast cancer, Stella reorganized her practice and teaching, covering breathing and postures to guide students safely during class.

Stella wants to use her experience to inspire others by sharing how yoga played a crucial role during her cancer journey. She aims to support individuals facing challenging times and illnesses, demonstrating that yoga can help maintain a healthy body, alleviate stress and painful symptoms, and ultimately foster a positive outlook on life. Through her teachings, she hopes to empower practitioners to navigate their own hardships with resilience and grace.
