300-Hour Teacher Training Course with Maxim Gagarin

Starts November 2024

This training is a transformative journey designed for practitioners who have a regular practice of yoga, and are eager to deepen their understanding, refine their teaching skills, and explore advanced aspects of yoga. Led by the passionate and highly experienced Maxim Gagarin, this program will challenge you to discover new depths within your practice and teaching.

The curriculum is extensive and covers both theory and practice. Devotional practices, traditional to India, are an integral part of the course.


Focused Learning:

Each module zeroes in on a core aspect of yoga, offering an in-depth exploration that goes beyond surface-level understanding.


Advanced Techniques:

Learn intermediate to advanced asanas, dive deep into yoga philosophy, and master teaching methodologies with a focus on hands-on practice.


Yoga Alliance Certification:

Successful completion of all three modules grants you the TTC300 certification, recognised by Yoga Alliance.


Course Highlights:

3 Comprehensive Modules


Each module can be taken individually. However you will only be eligible to receive the TTC300 certification upon completion of all 3 modules.

Asana and Physical Mastery (6.5 weeks)

Module 2:
Yoga Philosophy (6.5 weeks)

Module 3:
Teaching Methodology Intensive (6.5 weeks)

  • Module 1: Asana and Physical Mastery
    November 9th to December 18th, 2024 (100 hours)

    • Week 1: Legs and Lower Back

    • Week 2: Shoulders and Neck

    • Week 3: Spine Flexibility

    • Week 4: Hip Joint Opening

    • Week 5: Knees and Ankles

    • Week 6: Balance, Inversions, Core

    • Week 7: Module Examination

  • Module 2: Yoga Philosophy
    February 8th to March 19th, 2025 (100 hours)

    • Week 8: Sanatana Dharma, Karma, Gunas

    • Week 9: Antahkarana and the 5 Koshas

    • Weeks 10/11: The Four Paths of Yoga

    • Weeks 12/13: Energy Centers & Chakras

    • Week 14: Module Examination

  • Module 3: Teaching Methodology Intensive
    March 29th to May 7th, 2025 (100 hours)

    • Week 15: Vinyasa Yoga

    • Week 16: Power Yoga

    • Week 17: Detoxification

    • Week 18: Yoga Therapy

    • Week 19: Yin Yoga and Private Class Techniques

    • Week 20: Module Examination


Daily Schedule

Each module is 6.5 weeks and includes weekend afternoons + one weekday evening session.

Weekend Schedule (6 hours per day, 12:15-18:15)

Weekday Schedule (Wednesday, 2.5 hours, 18:15-20:45)

    Breaks will be allocated accordingly.
    This structure is for reference only and it may change from time to time during the course.


Dates & Location


The course is designed with flexibility and convenience in mind. It does not to interfere with many key holiday periods.

Having a break between each module also gives you time for self-reflection, self-practice, recharge your energy and assimilate the teachings/knowledge.

Requirements

Our course modules are tailored to enhance specific areas of your practice and teaching. This training is open for everyone to join who has a regular practice of yoga. For all Yoga Alliance certification and requirements please refer to the FAQ section below.

A sincere desire to learn and an openness to the teachings of yoga is required. Basic rules of the studio have to be followed, such as arriving on time, not eating inside the classrooms, and respecting the teacher and the other students.

Additionally, you will be required to complete a total of 30 hours of IKIGAI group classes as part of the course curriculum. The course fee includes 30 complimentary IKIGAI group class credits (or 10 per module). 

The course modules will take place on weekend afternoons and one weekday (Wednesday). In Module 3, there are a couple of sessions on public holidays, as detailed in the following table:


About Your Teacher: Maxim Gagarin

Maxim Gagarin is a seasoned yoga practitioner and teacher whose classes are deeply rooted in the traditional Bhakti Yoga principles of the ISKON lineage. With a rigorous and authentic approach, Maxim's teachings are ideal for students who are ready to push their boundaries and dive into the spiritual and philosophical aspects of yoga.


Maxim’s Approach:

2. Receive confirmation of your application from our team. A short meeting with Maxim is required to ensure your readiness for the training.

3. After your application has been accepted, choose your payment plan and enroll in the program.

4. Start your TTC experience!


Certification

Yoga Alliance

IKIGAI is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School (RYS). Our TTC conforms to the Yoga Alliance RYT300 certification standards.  Our graduates can apply to Yoga Alliance to become a Registered Yoga Teacher.

A Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) credential is earned by yoga teachers whose training and teaching experience meet Yoga Alliance standards.
