What to Expect

A Deeper
5-Day Return

This is a carefully curated journey designed to help you slow down, release what you have been carrying, and return to yourself with more clarity.

Across five days in Ubud, each practice, ceremony, workshop, and moment of rest builds on the one before.

01

Daily Practice with Doris & Tara

Yoga, pranayama, somatic movement, breathwork, guided meditation, self-inquiry, and nervous system regulation woven across all five days.

02

Water Purification Ceremony

A visit to a sacred waterfall and traditional water purification temple. A physical and symbolic cleansing to set the tone for the retreat’s inward journey.

03

Sound Healing in Ubud

A group sound healing experience with Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, and didgeridoo in a sacred geometric space in the hills of Ubud.

04

Hot Yoga & Salt Cave Meditation

One dedicated hot yoga session to meet intensity with presence, followed by guided breath and meditation practices inside the salt cave environment.

05

Recovery Centre & Balinese Massage

Full access to GDAS’s recovery facilities, including cold plunge, sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi, plus one included Balinese massage treatment.

06

Fire Ceremony & Closing Ritual

A fire ceremony to release what you no longer need, followed by a final integrative practice, guided reflection, and closing ritual before returning home.

The Guides

Guided by
Doris & Tara

Two guides, two complementary paths into the body. Together, Doris and Tara will hold the group through movement, breath, self-inquiry, ritual, and integration.

Yoga & Movement Guide

Tara Fitzpatrick

Tara grew up in dance studios and on stage, later building a professional life as a dancer and performing across the world.

Movement, creativity, and self-expression have always been central to her life. When she discovered yoga in her late teens, she found a new way to move where no performance was required, only presence.

During The Return, Tara will guide practices that help you drop into the body, move with honesty, and reconnect with the simplicity of being present.

For people who want to move beyond performance and come back to presence.

Somatic & Breathwork Guide

Doris Au-Yeung

Doris is a Bali-based wellness coach, community builder, yoga teacher, and mentor whose work focuses on transformation through the body.

After 18 years in finance, she moved into yoga and wellness, guiding retreats, workshops, breathwork, somatic practices, and body-based coaching experiences across Asia and beyond.

During The Return, Doris will guide somatic movement, breathwork, self-inquiry, nervous system regulation, and the deeper inner work of letting go.

For people ready to stop thinking their way through life and start listening to the body.

The Location

Gdas Bali Health and Wellness Resort,
Ubud

A health and wellness resort in the heart of Bali’s cultural and spiritual landscape. Surrounded by rice fields, jungle, and the slower rhythm of Ubud.

GDAS Bali Health and Wellness Resort sits in Ubud, Bali’s cultural and spiritual hub. It is a place designed around holistic healing, mindful movement, plant-based dining, and a deeper kind of rest.

For The Return, the venue becomes part of the retreat experience. Practice spaces, recovery facilities, spa treatments, salt therapy, nourishing meals, and the surrounding landscape all support the same intention: to slow down enough to listen again.

Between sessions, there is time to recover, journal, rest, receive a Balinese massage, or simply let the quiet of Ubud do its work.

What You’ll Take Home

You’ll return with more
than memories.

01

A Clearer Mind

Five intentional days away from Hong Kong’s pace, giving you the space to slow down, gain perspective, and hear yourself more clearly.

02

A Deeper Practice

Daily guidance from Doris and Tara across yoga, breathwork, somatic movement, meditation, and self-inquiry. A depth that weekly classes rarely allow.

03

Space to Release

Ceremony, sound, movement, rest, and reflection create the conditions to let go of what you no longer need to carry.

04

Genuine Connection

A maximum of 18 participants sharing five meaningful days together. Enough intimacy for real conversations and a true sense of community.
