Teacher Introduction
Stella Mak
Warm encouragement, grounded care.
Stella brings a gentle and approachable teaching style that helps students feel supported from the very beginning.
Stella began practicing yoga in 2015 while searching for a deeper sense of meaning and direction in life. At the time, she was experiencing pressure at work, and yoga became a way to release and recalibrate.
Inspired by this shift, she completed her 200-hour teacher training and began sharing the practice with others.
In 2023, Stella was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer. What followed was a challenging period of surgery, chemotherapy, and recovery.
Through daily meditation and consistent practice, she rebuilt her relationship with her body. Yoga became a steady anchor, supporting her strength and resilience through each stage.
Today, her teaching reflects this journey. She places strong emphasis on breath, awareness, and safe, intelligent movement.
Stella hopes to support and inspire others, especially those navigating illness or recovery, by offering practices that feel both empowering and accessible.
